Inside Out present Veles e Vents by Xarxa Teatre

This spectacular firework and theatre performance, celebrates the launch of the Cultural Olympiad and takes place overlooking the Olympic sailing course in Weymouth Bay. Veles e Vents explores the love of the sea, a sea that can be both benevolent and kind and at other times cruel and frightening. Over the past 25 years, Valencian artists Xarxa have created dramatic large scale performance, using pyrotechnics, live performers and giant sets. They have toured internationally, creating shows to mark major events. Inside Out presents extraordinary events in extraordinary locations and brings the most exciting international outdoor performance to Dorset. In the lead up to Wind and Sails, young people from Poole, Bournemouth and Weymouth will be working with artists to create their own ‘Stories of the Sea’.
